Compensation: $65,000 / year

What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Project cost accounting (assist with project setup, verification, and reports)
- Ensure invoicing requirements are met by deadlines
- Help project managers achieve financially successful projects
- Support project audits
- Review and enter subconsultant invoices
- Analyze and report accounts receivable status and collection
- Assist team with process improvements
- Other accounting related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience)
- 1-5 years of related work experience; engineering, construction, or architectural experience is highly preferred
- Preference given to those with Deltek software experience, especially Vantagepoint
- Proficiency in MS Office, 10-key by touch
- Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices
- Outstanding attention to detail, proactive follow-up
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Professional appearance, written and verbal skills
- Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently
- Anxious to learn and to help others
- Proactively seeks to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Reliable, self-motivated, positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
