Description

Since 2015, Mejuri has reimagined what fine jewelry can be in a modern world—shifting it from a traditional gift to to a personal choice rooted in self-expression.

Founded by third-generation jeweller Noura Sakkijha, the brand was built on a simple idea: fine jewelry shouldn’t require a special occasion, and it should never come with guilt. It’s about celebrating yourself—your style, your life, your everyday.

Mejuri meets customers where they are—online, in app, and through a growing global retail footprint of 58+ stores worldwide. Mejuri is also deeply committed to doing things the right way, with responsible sourcing, sustainable practices, and philanthropic initiatives that reflect our values and long-term vision.

Job Overview

As the Partnerships & Events Specialist, you'll be the execution engine behind Mejuri's partnership and events calendar,  turning aligned strategy into flawlessly run activations, on time and on budget, across a growing slate of concurrent local, cultural, and brand partnerships. It involves partnering across the business to integrate culturally connected thinking into brand strategy, embedding elevated partner experiences in digital and retail execution, and building the operational systems that let a growing calendar of global activations run without a hitch. Success requires distilling industry trends into actionable partnerships that drive business outcomes and enhance customer experience, ultimately owning a creatively-led ecosystem of global activations that champion the Mejuri brand. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy, detail-obsessed role for someone who gets as much satisfaction from an airtight traffic sheet as from a beautifully executed activation.

What you'll do

  • Partnership Sourcing & Strategy: Identify, pitch, and validate new local and cultural partnerships, building and presenting the quarterly partnership calendar that anchors the brand's activation strategy.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Initiate partnership discussions, negotiate terms to maximize value, and manage legal agreements alongside Finance and Legal, escalating higher-stakes deals to leadership.
  • Campaign & Event Execution: Lead the development and on-the-ground launch of co-marketing campaigns, events, and co-branded content — owning vendors, budgets, timelines, staffing, and on-site execution, with contingency built in so every activation runs flawlessly regardless of what the day throws at it.
  • Pipeline & Performance Management: Own the single source of truth for the partnerships calendar and use performance data — foot traffic, sell-through, EMV, and redemptions — to report results to stakeholders and sharpen future partnership bets.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement: Act as the connective tissue across creative, retail, social, and legal, translating partner requirements into precise briefs that move fast and never get crossed.
  • Cultural Insight & Brand Alignment: Stay deeply attuned to cultural trends across fashion, lifestyle, design, beauty, and adjacent spaces, using this perspective to assess brand fit, identify white-space opportunities, and shape partnership strategies that feel relevant, authentic, and differentiated.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Event and partnership revenue targets (NMV, conversion rate, AOV)
  • New customer acquisition
  • EMV, working alongside cross-functional teams (PR, social, influencer) to achieve
  • Budget stewardship (deliver activations on or under budget)
  • Execution quality

What you'll bring to the team

  • 3+ years in event production, partnerships, or experiential marketing — ideally in DTC retail, fashion, or lifestyle
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field
  • Project Management: Proven experience running brand partnerships, campaigns, and activations end-to-end, from first conversation through execution, measurement, and post-campaign optimization
  • Negotiation Acumen: Demonstrated experience initiating and closing partner agreements, balancing brand value with commercial terms
  • Cultural Intelligence & Taste: Deep cultural fluency across fashion, lifestyle, design, and beauty, with the ability to assess true brand fit, spot white-space opportunities, and protect long-term brand integrity
  • Experiential & Event Expertise: Hands-on experience producing high-impact events and brand activations, managing vendors, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution with precision, and building the contingency plans that keep them running when something inevitably goes sideways
  • Cross-Functional Experience: Exceptional communicator who can align internal stakeholders (creative, PR, legal, finance, retail, digital) around a shared vision and deliver against it
  • Operational Rigor: Highly organized and process-oriented, able to own a single source of truth across multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while thriving in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Creative Problem Solving: Innovative, resourceful thinker who enjoys tackling complex challenges and developing fresh, community-driven ways to engage consumers
  • Results-Driven & Insight-Led: Data-informed mindset with the ability to track performance, extract insights, and continuously improve future partnerships and campaigns
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional creative ideation, fluency in pop culture, interpersonal communication, negotiation, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence without direct authority

Things we consider an asset:

  • Experience in luxury or premium DTC brands within jewelry, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
  • Global partnership or influencer experience, with sensitivity to regional and cultural nuance; hands-on exposure to IRL activations, retail moments, or experiential marketing
  • Comfort presenting ideas and results to leadership, balancing creativity with business impact
  • Experience working with a range of event, merch, and design vendors across global markets
  • Ability to create well-designed, compelling pitch decks for external partners that clearly articulate strategy, creative vision, and value exchange
  • Experience managing freelance or agency support as an extension of the team
  • We're building an AI-fluent organization. We welcome candidates at all stages of their AI journey — what matters is curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an openness to working alongside AI tools as part of how we do our best work.
