Description
Ready to make your next big professional move? Join us on our journey to achieve our big dream of building the most loved restaurant brands in the world.
Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies with nearly $45 billion in annual system-wide sales and over 32,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories.
RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands – TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.
RBI is committed to growing the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES® and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands by leveraging their respective core values, employee and franchisee relationships, and long track records of community support. Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.
Popeyes is entering an exciting growth phase in Mexico, supported by regional franchise partners across the Northwest, West, Central, and Southeast. With an ambition to develop more than 300 restaurants over the next decade, supply chain excellence will be fundamental to delivering consistent product quality, restaurant readiness, and strong franchisee economics.
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be a hands-on, analytical partner to the Supply Chain Manager – Mexico. This person will help build the supply chain capabilities required to scale Popeyes in Mexico: localizing approved products and packaging, coordinating suppliers and distributors, monitoring service and cost performance, and supporting franchisees with practical, reliable solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded supply chain professional who enjoys building in an entrepreneurial environment and wants visible impact in a growing QSR business.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
Role Scope & Impact:
• National role based in Mexico City, supporting Popeyes franchise partners across Mexico.
• Builds scalable supply-chain processes for a rapidly expanding restaurant network.
• Supports the localization, sourcing, qualification, and rollout of food, packaging, smallwares, and other restaurant-critical items.
• Connects franchisee needs, suppliers, distributors, operations teams, and RBI regional and global stakeholders.
• Helps protect restaurant continuity, product quality, food safety, and franchisee profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning & Performance Analytics
• Maintain and analyze demand forecasts, inventory positions, supply coverage, order patterns, and distribution performance for key restaurant products.
• Develop regular reporting on fill rate, service level, stock-outs, inventory health, lead times, waste, and cost trends.
• Identify supply risks early and coordinate mitigation plans with suppliers, distributors, franchisees, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the Supply Chain Manager in preparing business reviews, supplier scorecards, and expansion-readiness reporting.
• Translate operational and commercial data into clear recommendations and action plans.
Sourcing, Localization & Supplier Management
• Support the identification, evaluation, onboarding, and performance management of local suppliers and distributors.
• Coordinate product and packaging localization projects in line with Popeyes specifications, brand standards, quality requirements, and local-market realities.
• Gather and organize supplier documentation, quotations, samples, specifications, lead times, capacity information, and commercial terms.
• Support cost benchmarking, negotiations, and should-cost analysis for core food, packaging, and indirect categories.
• Track supplier performance and coordinate corrective actions when quality, service, cost, or compliance issues arise.
Franchisee & Cross-Functional Support
• Act as a responsive day-to-day supply chain partner for franchisee teams, helping resolve supply, ordering, distribution, and product-transition issues.
• Partner with Operations, Training, Marketing, Development, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure supply chain readiness for new products, promotions, and restaurant openings.
• Coordinate supply requirements for regional launches and new-market entries, including initial inventory, equipment-related needs, supplier coverage, and distribution setup.
• Help create practical tools, processes, and communication routines that franchisee teams can use consistently.
Systems, Process & Continuous Improvement
• Improve data quality, item masters, supplier records, reporting templates, and purchasing-related processes.
• Help establish scalable operating routines for supply planning, issue escalation, supplier reviews, and franchisee communications.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, complexity, waste, and service failures as the Mexico system grows.
• Support implementation and adoption of relevant procurement, inventory, or reporting tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are structured, curious, commercially sharp, and comfortable moving between data analysis and practical problem-solving. You can build credibility with suppliers and franchisees while working in a fast-moving, still-forming organization. You understand that reliable supply is not only an operational requirement—it directly protects restaurant sales, guest experience, and franchisee confidence.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
• Approximately 4–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, demand planning, logistics, category management, or operations analytics.
• Experience in QSR, foodservice, food and beverage, retail, CPG, distribution, or another high-volume consumer business strongly preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers, distributors, co-manufacturers, or multi-unit operations.
• Strong Excel capability required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, ERP, procurement, or inventory-management systems is highly valued.
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and turn findings into action.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.
