Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1\. Deliver HBM yield, quality and NPI

· Drive best-in-class yield ramp and product maturity from development through high-volume manufacturing.

· Lead cross-functional resolution of critical process, device, reliability and product integration issues.

· Balance speed, quality, cost and risk to meet business and customer commitments.

2\. Lead global One Team execution

· Align Fab, Technology Development, Product, Yield, Quality, Manufacturing and business partners around common priorities.

· Build clear ownership, milestones, review mechanisms and escalation paths across global sites.

· Remove barriers quickly and communicate risks, decisions and recovery plans transparently.

3\. Apply AI to engineering and operations

· Champion AI-assisted data mining, anomaly detection and pattern recognition to surface high-impact yield opportunities faster.

· Use predictive analytics and modelling to improve yield projections, risk identification and NPI readiness decisions.

· Build reusable engineering knowledge through AI-enabled search, lesson capture and cross-node learning.

· Automate routine data preparation, status summaries and reporting so engineers can focus on technical judgement and innovation.

· Ensure AI applications follow data security, validation, responsible-use and human-review requirements.

4\. Build strategy, systems and capability

· Develop PI roadmaps, methods, tools and operating models that support HBM technology cadence and business plans.

· Create scalable dashboards, metrics and review systems that turn data into timely decisions.

· Encourage experimentation, technical leadership and disciplined learning across the organisation.

5\. Lead performance and accountability

· Set clear priorities, measurable goals and role expectations for managers and team members.

· Review critical programmes and deliverables regularly, using metrics to identify gaps and drive closure.

· Coach leaders to balance task execution with business results, quality and long-term capability building.

6\. Grow people and succession strength

· Maintain a forward-looking training roadmap covering HBM, advanced PI, data analytics and AI fluency.

· Develop technical experts, people leaders and successors through coaching, mentoring and stretch assignments.

· Reduce single-person dependencies through knowledge sharing, cross-training and global collaboration.

Qualifications

Required

· Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline.

· 6+ years of semiconductor process, product, yield or integration experience, including leadership of complex cross-functional programmes.

· Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication, process interactions and their impact on yield, device performance and reliability.

· Ability to interpret inline, parametric, probe, reliability and assembly data for DRAM/HBM products.

· Clear written and verbal communication, structured problem solving and data-driven decision-making skills.

What Sets You Apart

· Proven success in HBM or DRAM NPI, yield ramp, technology transfer or high-volume manufacturing.

· Ability to lead and influence globally across sites, functions and senior stakeholders.

· Experience applying analytics, machine learning or generative AI to engineering workflows and decisions.

· Track record of developing managers, technical leaders and successors.

· Comfort operating in ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and taking ownership beyond formal boundaries.

Travel

Travel required: Yes, as needed to support global collaboration and department goals.

Expected frequency: 20-50%.
