The Role
We are looking for a talented Digital Media & Performance Manager to join Haleon’s media team. Reporting into the Oral Healthcare Media Lead Team, this role will support the OHC media agenda across digital planning, strategy, campaign management, measurement and optimization. In parallel, the role will serve as the embedded digital performance marketing expert for the wider media team across categories, helping raise capability, improve effectiveness and accelerate learning across the portfolio.
The successful candidate will combine strong strategic thinking with hands-on performance marketing expertise. They will translate business and brand objectives into connected digital media plans, work closely with agencies and platform partners to deliver campaigns, and use data and experimentation to improve outcomes. The role will also help lead future-facing initiatives, including FPD and the integration of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) into Haleon’s evolving search and discoverability approach.
Key Responsibilities
- OHC digital planning and strategy: Support the OHC Media Lead Team in developing audience-led, channel-connected digital strategies and annual/quarterly plans aligned with brand and business priorities.
- Campaign management and delivery: Partner with internal stakeholders, media agencies and platform partners to translate strategy into high-quality activation across paid search, social, video, display, programmatic, digital commerce and other relevant digital channels.
- Digital performance leadership across categories: Act as the embedded performance marketing expert for the broader media team, providing specialist guidance, setting good-practice standards and helping category teams improve campaign effectiveness, efficiency and learning.
- Performance optimization: Oversee campaign performance and drive ongoing optimization against agreed objectives and KPIs, including CPA, ROAS, CPL, CVR and other relevant brand or commerce outcomes.
- Measurement, attribution and learning: Strengthen measurement frameworks, attribution approaches, test-and-learn plans and post-campaign reviews to clarify the contribution of digital touchpoints and inform future budget allocation.
- Audience, data and personalization: Use first-party, second-party and platform data, along with demographic, behavioral and contextual signals, to strengthen audience strategy, targeting, personalization and campaign relevance.
- Search and discoverability transformation: Shape an integrated search approach spanning paid search, SEO, AEO and GEO, helping brands remain discoverable as consumer search behavior and AI-enabled experiences evolve.
- Future-facing media initiatives: Lead or support priority innovation initiatives such as FPD, identifying scalable use cases, piloting new approaches, defining success measures and embedding proven practices across categories.
- Digital tools and platform excellence: Build effective use of platforms and tools such as Google Ads, DV360, Meta, The Trade Desk, Amazon, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and relevant measurement or martech solutions.
- Reporting and actionable insight: Develop clear dashboards, performance narratives and recommendations for media and senior stakeholders, connecting campaign results to business objectives and decisions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with brand, media, content, analytics, e-commerce, technology and agency teams to create aligned plans and remove executional barriers.
- Capability building and governance: Develop playbooks, share learning, support upskilling and promote consistent standards for digital planning, activation, measurement, data quality and responsible media practice across the media team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution. Additional certification in digital marketing, data analytics, performance marketing or a related discipline is an advantage.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in digital media, performance marketing, growth marketing or digital strategy, with experience managing complex, multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience in consumer healthcare, FMCG, e-commerce, quick commerce, start-ups or direct-to-consumer business models is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with media agencies, technology/platform partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evidence of turning data and campaign learning into clear strategic and commercial recommendations.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong command of digital media planning, performance strategy, campaign operations and optimization.
- Proficiency across platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, Meta, The Trade Desk and Amazon, with a strong understanding of programmatic, social, search, video and digital commerce.
- Deep knowledge of paid search, SEO and emerging AEO/GEO practices, with the ability to connect paid, owned and earned discoverability.
- Strong understanding of first-party and second-party data, audience strategy, consent-aware activation and customer journey analysis.
- Expertise in performance metrics and measurement, including CPA, ROAS, CPL, CVR, CLV, incrementality and attribution principles.
- Experience with web and campaign analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, campaign managers, tag management solutions and reporting platforms.
- Working knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, experimentation, A/B testing, multivariate testing and landing-page optimization.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and convert findings into focused, actionable recommendations for different stakeholder groups.
- Strong Excel and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear dashboards and leadership-ready performance narratives.
- Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, agencies and campaigns simultaneously.
Personal Attributes
- Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving ability.
- Curious and future-focused, with an active interest in new consumer behaviors, technologies and media models.
