The Supply Chain Department supports clinical and business operations by ensuring the availability of high-value products and services while optimizing pricing, distribution, inventory management, and utilization. The department manages all aspects of non-labor supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, purchasing, logistics, distribution, inventory management, and supply delivery across the health system.
Under the direction of the Director of Logistics & Distribution, this position leads 24/7 supply chain support for patient care areas, ensuring efficient inventory management and product availability. Responsibilities include overseeing distribution and logistics operations, implementing and maintaining Kanban inventory systems, establishing standard work processes, managing supply room operations, providing leadership and development for staff, supporting inventory and supply management systems, developing policies and procedures, managing budgets, driving process improvement initiatives, and ensuring high-quality service to support patient care. This role also oversees recruitment, training, performance management, and special projects within the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, healthcare operations, or a related discipline.
