Part II: Job Purpose

- lead of the warehouse in India - The overall objective of the function is the optimal management, control, organization and continuous strategic improvement of warehouse and logistics processes (incoming goods, intra-, warehouse, dispatch and returns logistics, shipping, customs clearance, trade compliance, freight tender) - Organization and management of transport logistics by selecting the service providers used - Organization, control and monitoring of customs processes - Organization, control and monitoring of dangerous goods processes - Achieving targets in accordance with the specifications in terms of process costs, productivity, cost and service level achievement, as well as logistical reliability and quality. - Identification of cost reduction and optimization potentials and implementation of the corresponding measures. -Development and optimization of warehouse strategies (stock levels, warehouse space allocation, replenishment process, route optimization). o Optimum control and monitoring of the interaction of critical paths at the picking and packing stations and at the manual/pallet warehouse. - Identifying, proposing and implementing initiatives for process optimization and continuous improvement (CIP)

Part III: Major Accountabilities

-  Overseeing and reviewing all processes and functions of the local logistics processes to ensure they are always carried out efficiently and safely.

-  Monitoring and managing shipping and import operations to ensure proper execution, efficiency, and compliance with established processes

-  Monitoring and managing customs processes

-  Monitoring hazardous materials processes (Hazmat Safety Officer)

-  Ensuring that all logistics personnel are fully trained and equipped to operate the machinery and equipment they use.

-  Organizing and overseeing the annual inventory in collaboration with Controlling and Accounting, and maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.

-  Initiating and supporting improvements in logistics and shipping coordination with carriers and internal customers to ensure that shipments are dispatched on time.

-  Monitoring the on-time arrival of incoming shipments and planning the necessary staffing levels for receiving purchased raw materials and manufacturing items from local, regional, and global production sites.

-  Documenting key logistics processes so they can be referenced and followed at all times.

-  Identifying opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement of the warehouse.

-  Monitoring the handling of transport damage by the shipping team and serving as the point of contact for questions regarding transport law

-  Ensuring that sufficient resource capacity is available to handle various shipments for receiving, storage, picking, dispensing, packaging, and identification.

-  Facilitate the verification of the year-end physical inventory and regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

-  Manage shelf-life checks, FIFO queries, and obsolete inventory in a visible, traceable, and cost-effective manner.

-  Oversee daily order planning and assignment to picking/packing workstations, as well as route planning, to ensure that picking and packing capacity requirements are optimized and balanced.

-  Continuously contribute to the ongoing improvement of the local warehouse and also connected warehouses

-  Lead and participate in local and global logistics projects

-  Manage the training structure for conducting initial and regular employee training and qualification programs

- Monitoring of Export Obligations for Advance License & EPCG Licenses - Verifying various Government Incentive    Schemes / benefits such as Duty Drawback, IGST Refund, RODTEP Scrips and planning for proper methodology to get all the import and export benefit

- Obtaining suitable certificates for the imported products International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) Certificate, Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) Certificate, E-waste Certificate etc

- Replying to show cause notices, notices, bond closures and coordinating with customs for proper justification

Part IV: Key Performance Indicators

• Strategically Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, Transportation and customer services , including setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization 
• Ensure that, overdue in Account Receivable is collected in targeted period. Providing Periodic reports & Month close activity with in targeted period
• Ensuring company should get all the benefits / schemes related to import and export and other taxation terms and conditions
