Service Technician – Electrical (Low & Medium Voltage)
Location: Belgium (mainly Ghent area)
About the Role
As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be involved in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage systems across multiple sites in Belgium, primarily in the Ghent region.
You will contribute directly to ensuring the performance, safety, and long-term reliability of modern energy infrastructures.
Main Duties
- Install and assemble low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment, including switchgear
- Perform cable terminations in accordance with applicable regulations (AREI)
- Execute commissioning activities, testing, and inspections of electrical systems
- Identify faults and carry out corrective actions either independently or in coordination with third parties
- Conduct electrical measurements and document findings through detailed service reports
- Review technical documentation, materials, and work instructions before starting activities
- Apply and promote strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site

Your Background
- Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or similar field
or equivalent hands-on experience (3–5 years) - Solid understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
- Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work across different sites (mainly Ghent region)
- Availability to travel occasionally to the Netherlands for training
- Good command of Dutch and English (French is an advantage)
- Valid driving licence (Category B)
