Are you a talented tech who's tired of drama, inconsistent work, or feeling like just another number? Come work with a crew that actually has your back - a tight-knit, respectful team at Ingersoll Automotive in Danbury, CT, where we treat each other like family and celebrate every win together.
We’re a busy, high-volume dealership with a stellar reputation for quality work, loyal customers, and low turnover. Our techs stay because they love the environment: clean, well-lit bays • state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment • a management team that listens and invests in your growth • zero tolerance for toxic attitudes.
Why techs are choosing us right now:
- Competitive flat-rate pay and guarantee rate with top earners clearing $80K–$120K+ annually (depending on experience and hustle) - plus plenty of hours and overtime opportunities
- Strong benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) , paid vacation, sick time, and tool allowance/insurance support
- Ongoing manufacturer training & certification reimbursement - we want you to become the go-to expert (and get paid more for it!)
- Modern, organized shop with lifts, air-conditioning, and the latest scan tools - no fighting for equipment or working in a dungeon
- Team events, BBQs, and a real sense of camaraderie - we work hard but we also laugh a lot
- Clear path for advancement - many of our lead techs and service managers started right where you are
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of solid automotive repair experience (dealership or high-volume independent preferred)
- ASE certifications (or willingness to get them - we’ll help pay!)
- Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- A positive attitude and team-player mindset - we leave the egos at the door
If you’re ready to work somewhere that values your expertise, pays you what you’re worth, and lets you go home proud of the job you did - we want to talk to you!
