Micro Metals, Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring our sheet metal products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting continuous improvement across our shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of sheet metal products
- Utilize precision tools including calipers and micrometers
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications
- Verify dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Conduct first article inspections on new or revised parts
- Verify inspection tools are within calibration standards
- Support quality improvement initiatives and reporting
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience using precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- 2+ years manufacturing or quality inspection experience
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and trigonometry
- Trade school or technical training
- Machine safety or quality systems training

Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing shop environment and includes:
- Exposure to moderate noise and vibration
- Work near moving mechanical equipment
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
