Job Title
In this role, you'll
- Collaborate in reviewing specifications and architecture, providing constructive feedback and identifying potential risks or gaps.
- Define comprehensive test strategies and plans (functional and non-functional), ensuring alignment with customer requirements and best practices.
- Design, prepare, and execute test cases while maintaining traceability with requirements.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using frameworks and work toward continuous improvement.
- Report on test progress and communicate milestones to all relevant teams.
- Support collaborative defect management by documenting issues, verifying fixes, and aiding resolution.
- Share expertise with peers, mentor new team members, and promote knowledge-sharing within the QA community.
- Champion quality standards and actively contribute ideas for process improvements and sustainability initiatives.
Your Profile
- Practical experience with reviewing specifications from various sources, including JIRA, Confluence, wireframes, and functional documents.
- Well-versed in API and web-service testing for Service-Oriented Architecture applications, leveraging tools like SOAPUI, POSTMAN PRO, or REST-Assured.
- Experience in manual and automation testing with XML and JSON formats (typically 6+ years or equivalent proven skills).
- Knowledge of analyzing backend logs and ensuring effective defect resolution.
- Familiarity with Python programming is an advantage.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to evolving processes and tools.
