Our Purpose
The Procurement Finance team is dedicated to partnering with sourcing and supply chain teams to optimize spend across all categories. We leverage financial analytics to measure value generation, cost savings, and supplier performance across the North America region. Our goal is to provide deep business insights into procurement spend, driving efficiency and supporting Kenvue's journey toward automated and faster reporting capabilities.
Position Overview
The Finance Analyst for North America Procurement is a key financial partner for the Procurement and Sourcing teams. This role focuses on the Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting of procurement spend across all categories focused on Direct Materials costs. You will be responsible for delivering actionable analytics to support sourcing decisions, savings tracking, and supplier cost management, ensuring that procurement spend is transparent, optimized, and aligned with Kenvue's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Spend Management: Support the consolidation and reporting of North America procurement expenses across all categories, including price and volume variances.
Spend Variance Analysis (BVA): Perform detailed analysis of Actuals vs. Forecast/BP for procurement costs, identifying drivers such as raw material price fluctuations, volume changes, and supplier rate variances.
Cost & Value Analytics: Partner with Sourcing teams to analyze Total Cost of Ownership and value-generation metrics, helping to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization.
Savings & CIP Tracking: Monitor and validate Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) across all procurement categories, ensuring savings are accurately captured and reflected in the financial results.
Forecast & BP Coordination: Manage the financial calendar for Procurement submissions, ensuring North America sourcing inputs are consolidated for the Business Plan and forecast cycles.
Digital Transformation: Support the adoption of advanced technology solutions to automate procurement reporting and reduce manual data processing, contributing to Kenvue's digital finance agenda.
Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure procurement accruals and financial processes comply with Kenvue's global policies, accounting standards, and sourcing governance frameworks.
Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Management. MBA or Finance certification is a plus.
Experience and Skills:
Fluent in English;
Experience in Finance or Accounting;
Specific Experience: Previous experience in Procurement/Sourcing Finance or Supply Chain Finance is highly desirable;
Technical: Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP is required. Knowledge of OneStream and data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus;
Soft Skills: Ability to translate complex procurement spend data into financial insights and communicate effectively with Procurement, Sourcing, and non-finance stakeholders.
