We are hiring a Director of Audit Services to lead the strategy, growth, and delivery of ViClarity’s national audit program serving credit unions and banks. This is a unique opportunity to shape regulatory compliance auditing across the United States. This role is responsible for leading a team of compliance auditors, building strong client relationships, and driving service excellence across lending, deposits, BSA/AML, ACH, and digital compliance.
NOTE: This is a remote, US-based position. Travel up to 25% is required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Grow and manage client relationships in partnership with VP of Services.
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of auditors.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based compliance audit program aligned with industry standards.
- Deliver regulatory compliance audits end-to-end, including lending, deposit, SAFE, ACH, and BSA independent tests.
- Monitor regulatory changes and adjust audit programs, tools, and procedures accordingly.
- Represent ViClarity through client calls, conferences, public speaking, and industry publications.
- Partner with VP of Services on budget, pricing, and business development strategy.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of regulatory compliance auditing experience in financial services (credit union or bank experience strongly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting financial institutions.
- Proven leadership experience developing high-performing audit teams.
- Strong client relationship, communication, and business development skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking, writing, and facilitation.
- Highly organized with proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
