Summary: This position is responsible for: 1) Assist Maintenance supervisor with supervising employees to ensure acceptable employee productivity and job performance. 2) Determines priorities, assigns work, and provides direction and support to maintenance team members. 3) Provides follow-up on job completion to review job performance and work quality. 4) Identifies any safety/regulatory concerns and applicable procedures or safeguards that must be followed. 5) Follows and promotes best practices related to food safety policies and procedures. 6) As needed, initiates orders for parts/materials and provides follow-up. 7)  As a member of the Maintenance Department staff, is expected to project a positive attitude while handling him or herself in a professional manner. 8) Maintains/promotes open communication and positive working relationships with all plant personnel/departments. 9) Must possess above average mechanical/electrical aptitude and skills. 10) Must have good communication skills. 11) Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. 12) Must have proficient math skills. 13) Clerical/keyboard skills are required for use of computer. 14) Must be highly organized with attention to detail. 15) As needed, may be assigned to other maintenance related tasks.

 

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.  

Must be able to work 3rd shift hours. Some weekend/holiday work required. Work hours schedule maybe adjusted based on plant needs.  

 

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
