We are currently looking for a Team Lead to join our team in Farmington Hills.

A Day in the Life:  

 

• Supervision of staff for Vehicle Distribution,  Project Vehicle Test Support and Operations, Logistics Support, and  Shipping & Receiving
• Ensuring staff understand duties and delegated tasks, including training of all new staff
• Organizing workflow & dept processes
• Maintain firm understanding of vehicle Security and Camouflage rules
• Reporting Fleet Status (capacity issues, safety issues, etc.)
• Oversee Test Vehicle Scheduler Software system
• Oversee Vehicle Customs, Transportation & Acquisitions
• Oversee every vehicle life cycle in NTCNA from acquisition to end of life (scrap or auction)

 

Key Skills:

• Leadership: Supervisor must take ownership of the role and be comfortable making decisions without guidance, as well as keeping levelheaded during busy times and possible emergencies.
• Organization: Supervisor must develop and manage systems that ensure shop materials stay organized and accounted for.
• Communication: Supervisor is expected to provide clear communication to management and subordinate employees regarding the status of projects and the steps needed to accomplish key milestones.

Who We’re Looking for:  

Required: 

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; will consider equivalent related college or technical courses or professional experience. 
• Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of experience OR 14 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree required.
• If an Associate’s degree, must have 14 additional years of equivalent experience. Substitute experience for the degree is in addition to the experience required for the role. 
• Four or more years of previous experience in the fleet management industry.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational, problem solving/conflict resolution, and leadership skills.

Desired: 

• Experience related to data analysis, KPI setting/monitoring, and project management
• Strong abilities in Cross functional & Cross Cultural communication
• Good analytical skills & exceptional attention to detail
