Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Channel Sales Manager for an onsite opportunity in Solon, Ohio. This position is focused on developing, managing and growing strategic channel partnerships that drive revenue growth, market expansion and customer acquisition across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, research and life sciences markets.
A strong scientific foundation is a major priority for this opportunity. The organization is open to training the right candidate on the sales side, making this an opportunity for a science-literate professional who can communicate credibly with scientific and research-oriented customers and who has experience working specifically for distribution companies.

CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT & GROWTH
• Develop and execute channel sales strategies supporting revenue, profitability and market-share objectives
• Identify, recruit, onboard and develop distribution partners, resellers and strategic channel relationships
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with channel partners, key customer stakeholders and industry influencers
• Develop joint business plans with partners covering sales objectives, account strategies, demand generation and performance metrics
• Expand existing partner relationships and identify new market opportunities
COMMERCIAL & PARTNER MANAGEMENT
• Drive revenue growth through consultative selling, opportunity identification and market development
• Collaborate with channel partners on customer engagement, product demonstrations, training programs and joint sales calls
• Lead commercial discussions involving pricing strategies, contract negotiations, rebate programs and partnership agreements
• Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain partner accountability for agreed objectives and requirements
FORECASTING & MARKET ANALYSIS
• Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines and business plans using CRM and business intelligence tools
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify business opportunities and optimize channel investments
• Gather and communicate competitive intelligence, customer needs and emerging market trends
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
• Work with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Legal and Customer Service
• Support product launches, promotional campaigns and channel-enablement programs
• Coordinate cross-functional growth initiatives
• Support operational flexibility through cross-training across related functions
INDUSTRY & CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
• Communicate effectively with scientific customers and stakeholders
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, scientific meetings and customer events
• Maintain credible communication regarding scientific concepts and terminology across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, research and life sciences environments

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology or a related life science field REQUIRED
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific concepts and terminology REQUIRED
• Scientific familiarity with biotechnology, life sciences, scientific research or related environments sufficient to communicate credibly with scientific customers and stakeholders REQUIRED
• Experience working specifically for distribution companies REQUIRED
• Stable work history demonstrating career longevity REQUIRED
• Ability to work onsite in Solon, OH REQUIRED
