  • Coordinate with technicians, utilities, clients, project teams, SCADA, IT, HV, Compliance, and other support groups.
  • Maintain OpLog workflows, track event progression, and coordinate with supporting roles when actions or documentation remain outstanding.
  • Support Level I Operators during routine work, explain how tools and procedures connect, model documentation and communication standards, and serve as an accessible technical resource.
  • Identify recurring information, procedure, training, alarm, tool, or ownership gaps and route feedback to the Supervisor, T&P, RC, or other responsible group.
  • Support planned work, new-site activities, testing, and periods of elevated volume as qualified.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of switching procedures and the safety aspects associated with substation device operations.
  • Understand how site conditions and operational actions affect generator performance and relevant operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT and SCADA teams to investigate and support resolution of connectivity or plant-control application issues.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable NERC requirements, Interconnection Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, and other requirements relevant to assigned OCC responsibilities.
  • Maintain flexibility in shift assignments due to 24/7 operations

Objectives or Goals to Measure Performance:

  • Consistent safety, compliance, policy, and procedure adherence while independently executing assigned responsibilities.
  • Independent ownership and timely progression of standard work from recognition through closure.
  • Accurate prioritization, response validation, issue narratives, documentation, and handoffs.
  • Effective coordination across internal and external parties without loss of ownership or continuity.
  • Consistent application of technical and operational knowledge to independently manage common variations and recognize when escalation is appropriate.
  • Quality and usefulness of routine support provided to Level I Operators.
  • Contribution to safer, clearer, and more efficient OCC workflows, tools, and team practices.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant control center, renewable energy, utility, or comparable operational experience, or demonstrated equivalent capability.
