As Manager, Technology Finance, you will be the key finance partner for a significant Technology portfolio, providing strategic financial insights, commercial advice, and performance management to support decision-making and optimise business outcomes.
This includes:
- Owning monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis, insights, and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes across technology cost and investment portfolios
- Providing commercial advice on technology costs, including run, change, cloud, infrastructure, and investment spend
- Conducting deep-dive analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Driving month-end performance outcomes, including P&L analysis, balance sheet review, and financial governance activities
- Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance reporting and planning processes

You will join the Technology Finance Performance Management team, partnering closely with Technology and Finance stakeholders to deliver financial insights that drive better business outcomes and investment decisions.
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders across Technology and Finance, where you will:
- Own the end-to-end financial management of a significant technology portfolio
- Deliver group-level reporting, forecasting, and consolidation activities
- Partner with senior technology leaders to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
- Manage complex cost bases across cloud, infrastructure, software, and transformational programmes
- Drive improvements in reporting, analytics, automation, and decision-support capabilities

You will play a critical role in helping Technology leaders understand financial performance, make informed investment decisions, and deliver value for the Group.

We're interested in hearing from people who have
- Significant experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, performance management, or commercial finance within a large and complex organisation
- Strong accounting and financial management expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and balance sheet analysis
- Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights
- Experience managing complex cost bases and supporting investment decision-making
- Advanced analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or advanced Excel
- Demonstrated success driving process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- CA or CPA qualification
