Job Description
The EHS Officer position exists to manage, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs acrossdata center operations, construction, retrofit, and Alteration & Addition (A&A) projects.
Operating within the limits of local EHS regulatory frameworks (DOLE, OSH Center), STT GDC Group Minimum Standards (GMS), and ISO
45001 parameters, the position's permanent objectives are to eliminate workplace safety risks, ensure complete legal and corporate compliance,
maintain zero-incident operational standards, and cultivate a proactive site-wide safety culture across employees, contractors, and corporate
Knowledge and Skills
Regulatory Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of local workplace safety laws, fire and life safety codes, environmental regulations, and
DOLE/OSH guidelines.
High-Risk Operations Oversight: Expertise in evaluating Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and Permits to Work (PTW) for high-risk
activities (e.g., confined spaces, scaffolding, lifting operations, and MEWPs).
EHS Management Systems: Proficiency in maintaining ISO 45001 standards and managing internal/external safety audit procedures.
Incident Investigation & Data Analysis: Strong analytical and root-cause troubleshooting skills to investigate workplace incidents, analyze EHS
metrics, and execute effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Competencies
EHS Expertise & Compliance: Deep understanding of regulatory standards, site safety management, and ISO 45001 frameworks.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to evaluate EHS data, troubleshoot safety hazards, and identify root causes of operational
risks.
Audit & Assurance Management: Skill in conducting live site inspections, contractor evaluations, and ISO audit preparation.
Stakeholder Communication & Engagement: Ability to articulate complex safety standards clearly to internal teams, external contractors,
corporate clients, and regulatory officers.
Incident & Risk Management: Proficiency in emergency response, thorough incident reporting, and enforcing corrective measures to prevent
recurrence.
Safety Training & Promotion: Ability to design and deliver effective classroom safety orientations and drive site-wide proactive safety culture programs.
Professional Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in EHS Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience managing comprehensive EHS programs, including hands-on construction safety. Prior experience within
- data center operations or critical infrastructure is strongly preferred.
