As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
- Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
- Document incidents, access-control activities, and shift observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
