Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
- Support for internal and external audits.
- Tax recording and validation.
- Month-end close process.
- Monthly accruals.
- Control follow-up and compliance management.
- Fixed asset management.
- Inventory Management.
- Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepayments Management.
- Ensuring that all the General Ledger accounting and Financial / Management Reporting is done in accordance with IFRS and APMM GAP.
- Additional functions may be required according to business area needs.
- ICP Reconciliation.
- IFRS16 Calculation and follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Years of Experience: 5-7 years’ experience with accounting and reporting.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, financial analysis, and the audit process.
- Experience in control framework and IFRS (added advantage).
- Experienced in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring control follow-up and compliance.
- Experienced in global company and transaction volume management.
- Software: Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas), ERP systems.
- English Level: Advanced (fluent in both written and spoken communication).
