ABOUT THE ROLE:
Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, you will join a team of professionals working across Accounting, Finance, and IT to support accounting system implementations, integrations, process improvements, and financial operations. The role combines accounting knowledge with system and process analysis, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration. A hybrid working model applies, combining office-based and remote work.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial data analysis.
- Prepare and support financial reporting in line with accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to accounting system implementations, integrations, and enhancements by validating accounting requirements, transactions, and reporting outputs.
- Analyze existing accounting processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support automation and process standardization.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies, system issues, and data quality concerns, working closely with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to resolve them.
- Participate in UAT, system testing, and validation activities related to accounting systems and integrations.
- Support reconciliation activities and validation of financial data across systems.
- Maintain accounting procedures, process documentation, and project-related documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on accounting-related system changes and business initiatives.
- Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, supporting schedules, and required documentation.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance-related role.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Experience with financial reporting and financial data analysis.
- Experience working with accounting or ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Unanet, or similar.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Experience with system implementations, integrations, process improvements, or UAT is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
- Ability to work in a structured environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Location: Vilnius, Lithuania. Hybrid working model.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Salary ranges (for employees in Lithuania only): 2000 - 4000 € gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
