Associate - Healthcare Commercial Banking

Seeking an Associate to join our growing Healthcare Industry Vertical within Citi’s Commercial Bank (CCB). Target market includes companies in the Medical Device, Tools & Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Digital Health and Healthcare Services industry sub-segments. This is an opportunity to support new business development, as well as day-to-day management of existing relationships. Candidate will gain significant experience in debt, equity and the various financial solutions across Citi’s global network including cash management, rates and FX.

Responsibilities:

• Be a Healthcare industry expert with deep knowledge of our portfolio companies
• Function as a key member of the team working with senior bankers to support new client acquisition activities, day-to-day maintenance of client relationships and strategic initiatives
• Serve as a key resource in driving new business generation in partnership with senior bankers
• Support the credit approval process by coordinating with internal partners and ensuring the proper application of policies and institutional processes
• Develop relationships with key partners across the Citi platform to meet clients’ individual needs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all time
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of related work experience
• Healthcare industry experience with proficient knowledge of banking products
• Knowledge of accounting, finance and credit
• Ability to work effectively in team setting
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Quality analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Must be able to secure and/or maintain SIE, 63 and 79 securities licenses

## Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,000.00 - $145,000.00
