Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Responsibilities

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for the efficient logistics operations, including the planning, forecasting, purchasing, manufacturing, and delivery of products.  

 

Other responsibilities include:

• Process improvement including the development and documentation of processes and procedures as required.
• Support logistics and operations aspects of complex custom customer orders.
• Aid in forecasting release of duplicate parts and risk management of forecast of custom, third party devices.
• Aid Demand Managers in forecast of and release of duplicate custom parts
• Execution of planning and scheduling control of parts before hitting purchasing and shop floor - avoiding duplicates and incorrect purchases
• High level of organization and analytical, mathematical, and statistical data capabilities
• Customer focus (internal and external)
• Maintain efficient prototype manufacturing to avoid redundant production, incorrect procurement, and excessive lead times.
• Constant interface with vendors requiring technical interface from purchasing and APE.
• Applied Science and technology experience with integrations
• Participate in project teams (Project Review, Product Launch, Cost Analysis, etc.)
• Interact with sales to provide shipping dates and follow up order status.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Operations Management knowledge and supply chain process
• Sound problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with general supervision.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Query writing in Excel or Access using relational databases.
• Project Management experience.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• APICS and CPIM certifications recommended.
• Hands on experience with ERP systems. Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
