The Role:
We are seeking a Software Architect who will support DAUCH ePowertrain AWD/eDrive Product development. Key responsibilities include:
- Capture and analyse software requirements from customer and related Systems / Components, Analyse Defects and Changes.
- Ensure compliance to internal and external standards including functional safety.
- Perform SW requirements Enginneering
- Identification and Review of SW relevant System Specifications (Requirements & Design)
- Specification of Functional SW Requirements, Timings & Resource constraints, Verification Criteria
- Ensuring the consistency to the Input Items and within the SW Requirements
- Analysis of the Technical Feasibility and Safety relevance (ASIL), perform safety analysis
- Develop SW architecture using state-of-the art methods and tools.
- Static and dynamic architecture
- Perform Software safety analysis, Dependent Failure Analysis
- Allocation of SW Requirements to Architectural elements
- Software Component design
- Memory map design
- Run time simulation of software architecture
- Apply SW architecture modeling standards such as UML and taking into account standard design principles and limitations, e.g. AUTOSAR or DAUCH standard SW architecture, OS and memory constraints, communication, diagnostics, functional safety and cybersecurity.
- Verify SW by review, static and dynamic analysis, testing, etc.
- Deliver architecture design documents and descriptions in ARXML notation
- Prepare and deliver SW-components for integration.
- Participate in review of system requirements, software requirements, architecture, integration / integration tests and qualification tests
- Participate in ASPICE audits (both internal and external)
- Support SW-PL on detailed planning and team coordination.
Who you’ll be:
To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in Automotive domain and hands on experience in developing software requirements and software architecture based on AUTOSAR architecture
Required Skills and Education
Essential Skills
- Engineering or Post Graduate Engineering degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Automotive domain
- Hands on experience in Powertrain or Chassis domain
- Experience in AUTOSAR architecture
- Hands on experience in defining software requirements and architecture
- Hands on understanding of ASPICE processes SWE1, SWE2
- Prior experience with software detailed design and implementation is preferable (SWE3)
- Experience with integration of third party safety components
- Ability to manage stakeholders from system and software teams and clarify their questions
- Experience with making design decisions and optimization techniques
Tool Skills
- PTC integrity, IBM DOORS
- Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody
- DaVinci Developer, Configurator / equivalent ETAS tools
- CANoe
- CANdella Studio
- Experience with Infineon Aurix Tricore, NXP S32K
- Experience with Vector and ETAS stacks
- Experience in using Debuggers like iSystems or Lauterbach or equivalent
Language Skills
Must be fluent in English
