What you’ll do

• Market Communications: Prepare initial drafts, speeches, and financial models supporting regular reporting and market events, ensuring clarity and simplicity in communications.
• Investor Relations Strategy: Support the development of the equity story, consensus management, and investor marketing to deliver a clear and compelling message to the investment community.
• Shareholder Engagement: Facilitate ongoing scheduling, Q&A sessions, and maintain primary ownership of the IR mailbox to triage inbound investor communications, especially following results announcements.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Consolidate sell-side reporting, prepare bespoke meeting preparations based on past interactions and broker intelligence, and support preparation of results feedback and post-roadshow board papers.
• Leadership Support: Act as 2IC to the Head of Investor Relations during their absence, maintaining continuity of communications with investors and sell-side analysts.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:
• Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize key messages concisely, both written and verbal.
• Advanced numeracy and analytical skills, including interpreting financial statements and financial modelling proficiency in Excel.
• Working knowledge of fundamental Corporate Finance and valuation principles.
• Relevant post-qualification or education work experience, ideally from finance, analytical, research, or strategy backgrounds.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in accounting firms, particularly at senior or manager levels.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing presentations and scripts.
• Interest in global equity markets and current affairs.
• Exposure to investor relations or corporate development functions.
