Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform drywall repairs, including patching holes, replacing damaged sections, taping, sanding, and finishing.
- Complete plaster repairs to walls and ceilings and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Perform interior painting and touch-ups, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and common areas.
- Complete tile repairs and replacement, including damaged floor and wall tiles, grouting, and caulking.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, including replacing faucets, showerheads, toilet components, and addressing minor leaks or clogs.
- Complete general maintenance and repairs in residential units and common areas.
- Assist with vacant unit turnovers and preparing units for new residents.
- Respond to maintenance work orders and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify maintenance issues requiring specialized contractors and report them to management.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow all building safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide professional and courteous service when working in occupied residential units.
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of a multi-residential property. The ideal candidate will have practical experience completing general building repairs and unit maintenance, with a strong focus on drywall, plastering, painting, tile work, and minor plumbing.
