Founded in 1948 by John Pridgeon and Donald Clay, we are one of the largest independent, value-added manufacturers and suppliers of automotive stamped and fine-blanked components in the United States.
Objective: The EAM Coordinator – Tool Room will provide support to the various departments to ensure its accurate and efficient operation in an exemplary manner according to the company quality policies.
Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:
- An associate's degree
- Exposure to a purchasing environment and a maintenance ordering system
- Ability to interact positively with suppliers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and strong data entry skills (data entry keying test will be required)
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to perform projects with a high degree of detail
- Exceptional professional attributes including self-motivation and dependability
- Ability to build effective work relationships
- Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability

Essential Functions:
Electronic Asset Management (EAM):
- Set up and maintain records within Inventory Maintenance in EAM database. Establish and monitor ROP & ROQ points based on usage history to ensure proper stocking levels are maintained.
- Set up and maintain records within Equipment Maintenance in EAM database.
- Run proper reports in EAM and Jasper to obtain requested information to support tool room and new die build groups. Provide proper charting when required.
Quality/Lean:
- Administer required stock replenishment runs to ensure proper stocking levels are maintained on purchased and fabricated components.
- Create requisitions for non-stock and spot buy replenishment items to support skilled trades and new die build groups.
- Coordinate and track Returns, Repairs, and Re-sharpened Stock Replenishment Items to maintain appropriate stocking levels.
- Review open orders with vendors to verify product delivery expectations to ensure timelines are met in support of skilled trades, and new die build groups.
- Support the fabricated components process.
Interpersonal/Teamwork/Organization:
- Daily communication with suppliers to ensure products are being received within designated lead times to support the needs of our customers.
- Assist, support, and execute special projects and assignments efficiently.
- Provide support & backup as directed by Team Leader duties.
- Cross Train and support Maintenance Coordinator.
- Create and update electronic die books to reflect updated instructions, photos, change over procedures, and special instructions.
- Convert CAD data and send out to outside vendors for quote
Organization/Communication/Professionalism:
- Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.
- Provide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and management.
- Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.
