Position Overview

Location: Granby, MO

We are seeking a qualified Water Truck Operator to maintain dust control through strategic watering operations. This position requires operating commercial water trucks and managing irrigation systems across multiple properties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate 2,000 or 4,000-gallon water trucks in various areas
• Refill water tanks at designated fill stations
• Connect and operate hoses for sod irrigation systems
• Manage heavy-duty hoses on varied terrain, including slopes and inclines
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of water usage and site locations

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience operating commercial water trucks preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)
• 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (if applicable based on certification date)
• 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy water hoses
• Capable of working on uneven terrain and slopes
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Stamina for extended periods of physical activity during 10-hour shifts

Working Conditions

• This position requires weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) with shifts averaging 10 hours per day.
• Work schedules are subject to adjustment based on weather conditions.
• Drivers and laborer will work together while following established safety protocols.
