Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Custodian to join our team in Magna, UT. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

We are excited for you to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Our domain provides rewarding work that contributes to the latest advancements being made in the missile defense industry.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces

• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap, sanitary products etc.)

• Wipe mirrors and windows

• Cleaning entrances, including glass doors and floors

• Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate department

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

• Previous custodial experience required

• Knowledge of use of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances

• Possess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial work

• Knowledge of safe use and disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

• Attention to detail and conscientiousness

• Ability to climb ladders and work from heights

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Good physical condition and strength

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operating industrial equipment such as cranes, forklifts, precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

• Experience performing sanding and finishing on customer products.

• Makes operator-controlled repairs as required.

• Attention to detail.

• Can work independently or in a team environment.
