Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in our Wilmington, Delaware office. The successful candidate will possess exceptional research, writing, organizational, and litigation support skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.

This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of working in the Wilmington office three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and report on cases from filing to resolution.
• Collect, organize, analyze and summarize case documents including but not limited to pleadings, discovery, motions, medical and employment records and appellate briefing.
• Conduct various research including docket searches and factual and legal research to support client defenses
• Prepare reporting for upcoming trial-set and other significant matters.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with counsel network across the country.

Skills:

• Experience in all phases of litigation from the onset of suit through trial.
• Preferable experience in personal injury and property damage litigation, although not required.
• Excellent communication skills: able to interact professionally with clients and attorneys.
• Excellent writing skills: able to communicate clearly and draft legal documents as requested by attorneys, including but not limited to pleadings, motions, discovery responses and prepare discovery production documents.
• Knowledge of all phases of the litigation process and ability to assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Adobe Professional and Adobe DC.
• Self-starter: Ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.

Requirements: 

• Paralegal Certificate required from accredited school.  
• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• Preferable two-plus years' minimum experience as a paralegal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
