Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for optimizing staffing levels across departments, ensuring adequate coverage and operational efficiency.Every day you will schedule personnel, process staffing requests, manage call-outs, and communicate effectively with staff and management regarding assignments and availability.To be successful, you will demonstrate strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail in scheduling, and excellent communication, crucial for maintaining optimal workforce deployment and service continuity.
- Manage daily unit staffing by monitoring patient census and acuity while coordinating shift-to-shift assignments and replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, staff attendance, and personnel information within the department databases.
- Generate and distribute staffing projections and reports to unit leadership to ensure efficient operations and payroll accuracy.
- Provide professional communication and support to all staff members while assisting nursing administration with daily office tasks.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of contract personnel including credentialing, orientation, competency tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
- Conduct regular audits of staffing data and contract documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate General Studies and Previous Staffing/Time ManagementSystem experience., upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies and Previous Staffing/Time ManagementSystem experience., upon hire or
- 2 years equivalent work experience and
- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred
- Experience in Google Workspace.
