Description of assignment 

As a Finance process automation & AI intern, you’ll get the opportunity to explore how technology can make Finance smarter and more efficient. You will dive into our current finance processes, identify opportunities for improvement and help turn your ideas into practical digital solutions. Using tools such as Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI and Alteryx, you’ll work on automating repetitive activities, creating reports and dashboards, and exploring how automation and AI can support Finance. You’ll work closely with the Finance team, test new solutions, and share your ideas to improve the way we work every day. You don’t need to be an expert yet, curiosity, a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn are what matter most. 

 

Department description 

You’ll join our EMEA Finance team at Vanderlande in Veghel, where you’ll support the EMEA region across Tax & Compliance, Credit Management and financial process improvement. You’ll become part of an international Finance environment and work alongside experienced finance professionals. Together with colleagues in Pune, India, who support the transactional activities, the team works on improving and supporting finance processes. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the team and contribute to making finance processes more efficient.

Your profile 

• Finance, Business, Economics, Business IT & Management 

• An interest in automation, AI and Finance  

• Analytical and solution-oriented  

• Curious, proactive and eager to learn  

• A team player with good English communication skills 

• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands 

 

What we offer  

• A monthly internship allowance (based on a 40-hour work week): 

Bachelor: €500 per month 

Master: €550 per month 

• Full commuting allowance, including public transport, depending on whether you have access to free public transport or not
