Program Overview & What You’ll Gain
The Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL) Analyst Program is a two-year rotational development experience designed to accelerate early-career talent into future business leaders at Wells Fargo. Building on the foundation established during the internship program, analysts gain meaningful exposure across Consumer Banking, Lending, and Business Services through a combination of challenging business assignments, structured development, and executive engagement.
The program begins with a comprehensive onboarding and training experience, followed by three eight-month rotations that provide broad exposure to key areas of the business. Analysts work alongside industry leaders to solve complex business challenges, leverage data-driven insights, contribute to strategic initiatives, and develop expertise in areas such as product management, credit, analytics, customer strategy, operations, transformation, and/or risk management.
Throughout the program, analysts benefit from dedicated program support, ongoing professional development, mentorship, networking opportunities, and direct access to senior leaders. By the conclusion of the program, participants will have developed a strong enterprise mindset, a diverse professional network, and the skills needed to drive meaningful impact across Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will
- Receive formal onboarding and ongoing training to broaden professional and technical skills and business acumen across CBL.
- Analyze data, extract insights, and present recommendations to team members and senior leaders.
- Contribute to customer‑focused projects that streamline processes and identify best practices across multiple business areas.
- Gain exposure to strategy, planning, and project management with cross‑functional teams.
- Build your professional network through cohort activities, collaboration with teammates, and engagement with managers and business leaders.
Required qualifications (U.S.)
- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 - June 2027.
- BA/BS degree candidate with a concentration in: Business, Economics, Data Science, Quantitative Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems, Statistics (All majors welcome to apply).
- Demonstrated critical thinking and data analysis skills with a proven ability to quickly learn, adapt to change, and contribute to innovative initiatives.
- Ability to execute with urgency, support business reporting, and contribute to operational excellence with an enterprise mindset.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively and contribute to inclusive, feedback-driven team environments.
- Ability to apply business and financial concepts to support decision-making and deliver excellent service through coursework, internships, or problem-solving experiences.
- Ability to act with integrity, effectively manage risk, and apply appropriate risk controls.
- Familiarity with AI tools and applying AI to coursework (e.g., Copilot, NotebookLM or similar).
- Proficiency in any of these tools: Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools.
- Successful completion of 2026 Consumer Banking and Lending Internship Program.
Program details
- Duration: 2 years, full‑time
- Locations: Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX (locations subject to change based on business need)
