Hotel General Manager

A premier hospitality ownership and management company is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead operations for a vibrant, contemporary hotel in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. This role offers an opportunity to drive performance for a modern, tech-forward property. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, goal-driven hospitality leader ready to oversee day-to-day operations, lead on-site food and beverage efforts, drive community engagement, and build a high-performing team.

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operational functions of the property, ensuring high standards of guest service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Direct local sales, marketing, and revenue management initiatives to maximize occupancy and overall profitability.
• Manage operational budgets, food and beverage revenues, guest room performance, and facility maintenance goals.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing associate team while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Maintain direct oversight of the property’s food and beverage operations, including the on-site restaurant and lounge.
• Collaborate closely with corporate leadership and ownership stakeholders to align operational strategies.

Position Requirements

• 2+ years of General Manager experience, or 3+ years of Assistant General Manager / Director of Operations experience in a hotel setting.
• Proven track record in select-service or full-service properties with at least 100+ rooms.
• Experience with major hotel brand systems (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, or Choice preferred).
• Strong background in revenue yield management, direct sales outreach, and budget oversight.
• Effective communication, team leadership, and community networking abilities.

Compensation Package Details

• Base Salary: $105,000 – $120,000 commensurate with experience
• Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 20% potential
• Health Benefits: Monthly healthcare insurance stipend via ICHRA ($460 for Employee, up to $1,200 for Family coverage)
• Retirement: 4% company retirement contribution
• Paid Time Off: 2-3 weeks PTO plus 2 weeks Sick Time
