Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice care team. In this role, you will provide holistic, patient-centered care to individuals with terminal illnesses, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life during their end-of-life journey.

As a Hospice Nurse, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. You will utilize the nursing process, incorporating advanced technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, and seamless coordination with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Your expertise and empathetic approach will support not only the patients but also their families, offering guidance and emotional support during this critical time.

What Does It Mean to Be Part of Our Hospice Team?

Home is where families gather, memories are cherished, and comfort is found. It is where moments of connection, peace, and dignity matter most.

At Intermountain Health, we have the privilege of caring for patients and families during one of life's most meaningful journeys. As a Hospice RN, you will provide compassionate, expert care that focuses on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life, allowing patients to spend their time in the setting they cherish most.

Working alongside an interdisciplinary team of physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and therapists, you will help guide patients and families through the end-of-life journey with empathy, skill, and clinical excellence.

As a Hospice RN, you will coordinate and deliver individualized care, advocate for patient needs, provide education and emotional support to families, and ensure patients receive the highest level of compassionate care.

Why Work With Us?

  • Patient-Centered Care: Focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life through evidence-based hospice practices.

  • Work-Life Balance: Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities to make a meaningful impact outside of a traditional hospital setting.

Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind, and social well-being. To that end, we have launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling, and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
