Salary range: $165K - $185K
Location: Sacramento, CA

About this role
We are looking for a Business and Environmental Litigation Associate with 1-5 years of experience to join a collegial, team-oriented practice at a premier Sacramento business law firm. You'll work alongside highly respected attorneys serving the region's top businesses, with the opportunity to take on meaningful litigation matters early in your career.
What will you be doing?
- Handling business litigation and environmental litigation matters for top regional clients
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs
- Drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategy
- Collaborating closely with partners in a fast-paced, small litigation team
Key Requirements
- 1-5 years of civil litigation experience (even close to 1 year may be considered)
- Active California Bar membership
- Strong academic record with law school transcript available
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills (writing sample required)
- Substantial experience in drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
