Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the team in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pharmacy professional to work within a busy healthcare environment, supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmaceutical care.

The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to support medicines management, optimise patient outcomes, and contribute to the efficient delivery of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across designated clinical areas.
• Undertake medicines reconciliation and medicines management activities.
• Assist in the safe and accurate supply of medicines to patients.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support medicines optimisation initiatives and patient safety improvements.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, Trust policies, and medicines governance procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Have previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of medicines management and pharmacy processes.
• Be confident working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Have the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Previous ward-based experience is desirable.
