Project Info ACCIONA Precast Solutions (APS) designs and manufactures prestressed and reinforced concrete products, including Super-T bridge beams, planks, girders, noise walls and custom elements. APS has supplied major infrastructure projects across Australia, including WestConnex and Pacific Highway upgrades, and continues to grow its manufacturing capability.
About the Opportunity Based at Yandina Creek, this is a split role covering cost control and project controls (70%) and estimating and tender support (30%). Reporting to the Project Manager, you will maintain project cost control systems, track expenditure against budgets, and support the preparation of tenders, quantity take-offs and cost estimates. You will work closely with project, commercial and supply chain teams to keep financial reporting accurate and tender submissions competitive.
Key Accountabilities
- Set up and maintain project cost control systems, including LinkedSite
- Track project and bid expenditure against approved budgets
- Manage cost forecasting, cash flow analysis and month-end reporting
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards and variance commentary
- Prepare take-offs, rate build-ups and tender cost estimates
- Issue RFQs and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Complete tender-to-project handover and set baseline budgets
Required Skills and Competencies
What Capability & Experience You'll Need
- Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience on construction projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in Excel; SAP and Power BI desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and data interpretation skills
