Job Description:
- Support DOJ modernization initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research to understand business needs.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, SOPs, requirements documents, and system documentation.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare UAT test cases, participate in testing, document results, and communicate issues for resolution.
- Support implementation activities and develop end-user training materials.
- Participate in train-the-trainer sessions and gather user feedback to support adoption and process improvement.
- Collaborate with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with solution assessment and communicate technical concepts to business users.
- Support project and change management activities, including workshops and consensus building.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise or large-scale modernization initiatives.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Experience creating process maps, user stories, business rules, SOPs, and functional documentation.
- Experience with UAT testing, test case preparation, and validation.
- Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with relational or cloud-based data platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security practices is a plus.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
- Experience with project/change management is preferred.
