We're looking for a talented Remote Residential Draftsman/Designer to help bring our clients' visions to life through thoughtful design, detailed plans, and stunning visual presentations.

This role is ideal for someone who loves residential remodeling, enjoys solving design challenges, and takes pride in creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

What You'll Do

Residential Design

• Design kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodeling projects
• Develop floor plans, elevations, and construction-ready drawings
• Create detailed 3D models and photorealistic renderings that help homeowners visualize their projects before construction begins
• Assist with space planning and layout optimization
• Select finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, and materials that align with client goals and budgets
• Prepare professional design presentations for client review and approval

Project Collaboration

• Work closely with the sales and production teams throughout the design process
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements
• Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with project budgets
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Support a seamless transition from design to construction
• Track time and work activity using Hubstaff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential design, drafting, or remodeling design experience
• Proven ability to create high-quality 3D photorealistic renderings for residential remodeling projects
• Strong proficiency in rendering and visualization software such as D5 Render, Twinmotion, Enscape, Revit, or similar platforms
• Experience developing residential floor plans, elevations, and construction-ready drawings
• Understanding of residential construction methods and remodeling practices
• Strong space planning and design skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Comfortable using Hubstaff for time tracking and productivity management
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated remote workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Chief Architect
• Kitchen and bath design experience
• Experience with Pro Kitchen
• Familiarity with design-build remodeling companies
• Experience supporting U.S.-based residential construction firms
• Knowledge of residential building plans and construction documentation

Compensation: $10-$15 USD per hour. Compensation will be based on experience, portfolio quality, rendering capabilities, software proficiency, and overall fit for the role.
