Job Title: Household Manager w/ Meal Prep Support
Location: West Hartford, CT (06107)
Employment Type: Part-Time, 10–12 hours/ week (10 hours/week guaranteed)
Schedule: 3 days/week for 3–4 hours/day, starting at 9am ET; Mondays preferred, with two additional days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays)
Compensation: $27–$32/hour, based on experience
Start Date: September 2026

Who You Are / What We’re Looking For
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You take pride in creating order, maintaining household systems, and completing tasks with care and consistency.
- Experienced with Laundry & Household Care: You are comfortable managing family laundry from start to finish, including washing, folding, organizing, and maintaining linens with attention to detail.
- Confident with Meal Preparation: You enjoy cooking healthy, thoughtful meals and are comfortable preparing multiple meals and snacks while following family preferences and recipes.
- Proactive & Reliable: You notice what needs to be done, follow through on responsibilities, and can independently manage your workload without requiring frequent direction.
- Discreet & Professional: You understand the importance of privacy, can read the room, and provide support in a way that feels seamless within the household.
- Warm & Respectful: You bring a positive, helpful attitude while maintaining professional boundaries and respecting the family’s established routines.
- Independent & Adaptable: You are comfortable working within existing systems, adjusting as needed, and taking ownership of responsibilities that keep the home running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Meal Support
- Meal prep 3-5 healthy entrees per week plus two snacks, preference for protein-forward meals and unprocessed, whole foods.
- Prepare and pack lunch/snack for school, as needed
- Manage grocery delivery through Whole Foods/Amazon
- Kitchen clean-up and maintenance
Laundry & Linen Care
- Wash, fold, organize, and put away all family laundry (clothing, sheets, towels, etc.)
- Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas by communicating supply needs
Household Organization & Maintenance
- Maintain household organization systems
- Daily resets and prepping home for weekly cleaners
- Light tidying, including putting away dishes, wiping down surfaces, refreshing the entryway
Inventory & Errands
- Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
- Collaboratively manage running household supply lists
- Breakdown boxes and organize recycling
