Senior Architect Engineer – RDD / Fit-out

Manage and coordinate architectural fit-out activities for retail, F&B and commercial units, ensuring compliance with quality standards, approved specifications and mall requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Coordination and Supervision:

• Manage and coordinate all architectural fit-out activities for retail units, F&B outlets and commercial spaces.
• Review tenant design submissions, shop drawings, material specifications and fit-out proposals.
• Coordinate with tenants, consultants, contractors and mall operations to ensure compliance with approved requirements.

Site Monitoring and Quality Control:

• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor fit-out works to ensure quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate architectural works with MEP and other disciplines where required.
• Follow up on technical observations, corrective actions and progress of ongoing fit-out works.

Compliance and Standards Enforcement:

• Support the implementation and enforcement of the mall's RDD / Fit-out requirements.
• Ensure all parties comply with technical specifications and approved design guidelines.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain professional and effective communication with tenants and key project stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and follow up on work progress with relevant management.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (mandatory).

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in RDD, Fit-out, architectural supervision or project coordination.
• Experience in retail, shopping malls, F&B or commercial projects is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and fit-out processes.
• Good understanding of RDD standards and fit-out requirements in major commercial projects.

Personal Skills:

• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Effective site presence and ability to provide direct on-site supervision.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
