As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration Desk in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will support access control, manage badges and visitor entry, monitor alarm panels and facility activity, and communicate clearly to help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, verifying appointments and identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and departure records.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries and communications, direct guests and drivers to appropriate areas, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting daily facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
