Careers that change lives start here. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a Mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our 95,000 employees work across more than 150 countries to put patients first — developing innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of 72+ million patients each year. Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.

A Day in the Life

Few marketing roles offer the opportunity to influence both the future of medical technology and the lives of the patients it serves. As a Product Manager on Medtronic’s Global Pediatric Marketing team, you will help shape solutions for children with spinal deformities and other complex spine conditions.

This role offers broad experience across both upstream and downstream marketing activities for Medtronic’s pediatric spine portfolio. Working closely with leading pediatric spine surgeons, cross-functional business leaders, product development teams, and the commercial organization, you will help identify unmet clinical needs, translate customer insights into product requirements, support new product development, and bring innovative technologies to market.

With responsibility across the full product lifecycle, you will support portfolio strategy, product development, commercialization, forecasting, inventory management, customer engagement, and ongoing portfolio optimization. You will collaborate with global teams across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to address the complex and often underserved needs of pediatric spine patients.

This highly visible role offers meaningful engagement with key opinion leaders, senior leadership, and strategic growth initiatives within Medtronic’s Cranial and Spine Technologies business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the pediatric spine market, competitive landscape, emerging trends, and customer needs to inform portfolio strategy and business decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with pediatric spine surgeons, key opinion leaders, physician customers, and industry partners to support innovation, education, and therapy adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leadership and field teams to develop customer-facing tools, training programs, and commercialization initiatives that drive product adoption and portfolio growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the pediatric portfolio, performing product demonstrations and supporting education and training for surgeons, sales representatives, and customers.
  • Contribute across upstream and downstream marketing activities by translating customer insights and unmet clinical needs into product requirements, business cases, market strategies, and commercialization plans.
  • Partner with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support product development and lifecycle activities from concept through commercialization.
  • Plan and execute Voice of Customer activities, including surgeon advisory boards, validation studies, technology evaluations, customer education programs, and conference engagements.
  • Develop and execute product launch and market development strategies to drive adoption and expand therapy utilization.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitive information to recommend product enhancements, portfolio improvements, and future development opportunities.
  • Manage product sales forecasting, inventory planning, and supply coordination to align customer demand with business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing customer and field support, gathering feedback and coordinating with internal partners to address product and service needs.
  • Track key performance indicators and provide insights and recommendations to support portfolio performance, strategic decision-making, and annual operating plan development.
  • Support budget planning and financial forecasting for assigned products and programs.
  • Travel up to 30%

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, product management, sales, engineering, clinical, or a related field experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, spine, orthopedics, or surgical technologies
  • Experience supporting upstream and downstream marketing activities across the product lifecycle
  • Experience supporting new product development, product launches, and commercialization initiatives
  • Demonstrated success developing relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, customers, and commercial teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
  • Passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes
  • Experience in pediatric deformity or pediatric spine
