Finance Business Partner - VOIS

## About this Role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to work closely with the Technology function within VOIS, acting as a trusted adviser and key link between finance and business operations. This role is accountable for financial performance, cost and revenue management, budgeting, pricing, and commercial decision support. The successful candidate will leverage strong financial, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities to provide meaningful insights, support strategic planning, and enable informed business decisions in a dynamic environment.

## What you’ll do

Budgeting

Engage with business stakeholders to obtain budget forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and forecasts relating to headcount, operational expenditure, volumes, and revenues during budgeting cycles.

Review and challenge budget assumptions to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial targets.

Monitor budgeted operational expenditure and ensure it remains aligned with actual expenditure.

Analyse budgets to identify existing and future business cost drivers.

Ensure departmental efficiencies are aligned with Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) expectations and targets.

Cost Management

Ensure revenue and operational expenditure are accurately reflected within the profit and loss account.

Review and challenge cost allocations and expenditure where appropriate.

Audit, monitor, and analyse business expenditure, conversion costs, and FTE overheads to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Provide financial insight and recommendations to support cost optimisation and business performance.

Business Partnering and Commercial Support

Act as the interface between finance and operational teams, translating financial information into meaningful business insights.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and financial priorities.

Interpret complex data, evaluate its business impact, and communicate findings clearly to support decision-making.

Support commercial discussions through financial analysis, pricing insights, and performance reporting.

Contribute to strategic planning by balancing financial governance with business growth objectives.

## Who you are

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably within a finance environment.

Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost management, and financial analysis.

Commercially aware, with the ability to understand and anticipate both operational and financial requirements.

Skilled in stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and relationship building.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

Strong analytical skills and confidence in handling, interpreting, and presenting numerical data.

Demonstrated ability to solve problems, manage ambiguity, and support decision-making in complex environments.

High levels of professional integrity, accountability, and ethical judgement.

Effective planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.

Ability to work across diverse cultures and within matrix organisational structures.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
