Job Description:
Assume ownership of maintaining and calibrating production equipment and other related tools in accordance with equipment manufacturer specification. Oversee line support and machine performance.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate the skills and share in carrying the duties and responsibilities of an equipment engineer I.
• Learn and practice the principle of equipment maintenance standards, preventive maintenance/calibration, buyoff and qualification. Establish PM strategies and protocols
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints and the likes.
• Oversee service calls on production equipment or instruments as needed.
• Work closely with process engineers to understand equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications.
• Review and analyze machine utilization data and provide improvement as needed.
• Selects, develops, coach and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
. As required, meet and discuss with suppliers on the concept and design of equipment requirement like tools, jigs, conversion kits etc.
• Complete P0 Leading Teams Sessions 1- 6
• Complete Situational Self-Leadership
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education Level:
BS degree of any technical course but with preference to engineering courses - EE/ECE/ME/CoE/IT
Manufacturing Engineering)
Working experience:
2-5 Years
Other Requirements
• Capable to lead and coach people.
• Knowledgeable in MS office.
• Have strong analytical & communications skills both written and oral.
• Implementing MSA, SPC, Control Plan, OEE, MTBF, MTBA, AMPM
• Understanding FMEA, TPM, Project Management
• Able to work extended hours and shifting schedule
• (Internal) Should have completed EDL requirements per job grade
