An established professional services organisation is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join its growing Audit & Assurance team. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified auditor looking to take ownership of client engagements, work closely with senior stakeholders, and further develop their technical and leadership capabilities within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate external audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards.
• Develop an understanding of client operations, processes, and business risks.
• Liaise directly with client management to obtain information, resolve audit matters, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Support the delivery of high-quality audit services while maintaining professional and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Fully ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within an external audit environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
