Position Summary
As the Senior Manager, Finance Analyst you will lead the financial-control workstream supporting contract compliance. You'll validate the financial consequences of performance guarantee results and contractual obligations, including penalty and cap calculations, accruals, invoices, credits, annual and termination statements, financial reconciliations, and settlement tracking. You will ensure that financial conclusions are supported, traceable, and aligned with applicable contract provisions and approved data.
***This is a remote role, but the ideal candidate will live in the Eastern Time Zone***
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of work experience in finance, accounting, economics, business, health care administration, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with financial analysis, reconciliations, accruals, invoice review, variance analysis, or contract-related financial controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including structured data review, lookups, formulas, tables, reconciliations, and clear workpaper design.
- Experience interpreting financial terms in contracts and translate them into supportable calculations and control procedures.
- Experience explaining complex financial issues clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with documentation, independent review, and deadline management, with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pharmacy benefit management, health plan finance, government programs, FEP, Medicare Part D, claims, rebates, or administrative-fee billing.
- Experience with performance-guarantee penalties, service credits, contractual caps, annual statements, or audit recoveries.
- Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise financial systems and SharePoint-based evidence retention.
- Professional certification or advanced study in finance, accounting, audit, analytics, or a related discipline.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, economics, business, health care administration, data analytics, or a related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
