Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Forklift Lead to oversee operations on 2nd shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring productivity goals are met, and maintaining safety and quality standards while actively operating a forklift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily forklift operations on 2nd shift
- Supervise and guide team members to meet production and efficiency goals
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees
- Monitor workflow and address any operational issues as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of forklift experience required
- Prior lead or supervisory experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Reliable and able to start immediately
